As an interior designer, Mari Robeson believes in what she calls "luscious living."
"My philosophy on design is that we should surround ourselves with gorgeous colors and items that make us happy," she explained. "When we wake up in beautiful space, we feel rejuvenated."
Robeson believes these little indulgences shouldn't be reserved for adults. Her specialty is creating luscious spaces for the littlest ones among us.
For much of her career, Robeson was an illustrator of greeting cards and children's books. In her spare time, she flipped houses with her husband, Bill, who is a senior planner for the County of San Luis Obispo.
Her passions for art and interior design came together in one endeavor: decorating the rooms of her three daughters. She discovered that creating beautiful spaces for growing children posed some challenges. "I wanted to do artwork in my daughters' rooms but didn't want murals that would have to be covered up in a couple of years," she said.

Mari's home, that she and her husband designed, and her Interior Design business, were featured in a four page spread of the Telegram Tribune's Home Edition, June 9, 2006. The article talks about her philosophy of design and her passion for designing children's rooms and decor.
It also mentions other design projects she has recently completed such as the beautiful new restaurant, Palazzo Giuseppe's, in San Luis Obispo, as well as her tips for adding style to a home.

HGTV
Mari Robeson appeared on HGTV’s (Home and Garden Television) new show called "That’s Clever!", which aired on August 7, 2006.
The show profiled three artists from around the country, showing how they make their craft. Mari Robeson will had two segments on the show. Her main segment featured step-by-step how she makes her Custom Collage Sachets.
The second segment appeared at the end of the show and featured her showing how she makes her Signature Banners for children’s rooms.
